Spring Hill Named No. 8 Seed in NCAA South Regional

INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA named Spring Hill College as the No. 8 seed in the 2025 NCAA Softball Championship South Regional. The regional is set to start on May 8 in Tampa, Fla.
 
The Badgers captured their second-straight SIAC championship under first-year head coach Hannah Fillmore. Spring Hill finished the season with a 31-21 overall record and a notable 13-5 record at neutral sites.
 
The South 1 Region pod, which is being hosted by top-seeded Tampa, will also feature No. 4 Nova Southeastern, No. 5 Barry and the No. 8-seeded Badgers. SHC will open its week at the regional against No. 1 Tampa on Thursday at 12 p.m. ET.
