ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Men's Basketball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Jan. 13, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week.
Ramar Pryor (

Danny Delgardo III (
Fort Valley State) were recognized.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK – RAMAR PRYOR, CENTRAL STATE UNIVERSITY
Guard | Senior | Canton, Ohio
Pryor played a pivotal role in leading Central State to two important SIAC road victories with an outstanding week on both ends of the floor. Against Spring Hill, Pryor scored 30 points on an efficient 10-of-14 shooting, went a perfect 9-of-9 from the free throw line, and added four rebounds and three steals in the Marauders’ road win. He followed that performance with a game-high 24 points in a road victory at Albany State, shooting 9-of-14 from the field while contributing four steals defensively. For the week, Pryor averaged 27.0 points per game, providing consistent scoring, defensive pressure, and leadership throughout Central State’s successful SIAC road swing.
NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – DANNY DELGARDO III, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Guard | Freshman | Tampa, Fla.
Delgardo was a sharpshooter for the Wildcats in their two win week. He iced 60 points shooting 44% from field goal range adding a 38% performance from beyond the arc. Delgardo III had a stellar week from the free throw line going 20-for-28. He rounded out his week pulling down 12 boards, assisting on seven shots and nabbing five steals.
