SIAC Men's Volleyball Weekly Honors: Jan. 13

ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Men's Volleyball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Jan. 13, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in matches played last week. Isaiah Fedd, Taviian Martin and Jeremyah Gaston of Fort Valley State University were recognized.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ISAIAH FEDD, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Outside Hitter | Senior | Apopka, Fla.
The Wildcats opened the 2026 season with a four set win over Queens University of Charlotte spearheaded by Isaiah Fedd. He tallied 18 kills to lead the team while hitting .406 with a service ace. On defense, he added two block assists and seven digs.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – TAVIIAN MARTIN, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Middle Blocker/Opposite Hitter | Senior | Chandler, Ariz.
Martin was a defensive force in the Wildcats season opening 4-set win over Queens University of Charlotte. Martin made a wall at the net with two solo blocks and four block assists shutting down the Royals offense. He also played back row and recorded nine digs. Martin added nine kills hitting .400%.

SETTER OF THE WEEK – JEREMYAH GASTON, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Setter/Opposite Hitter | Graduate | Charlotte, N.C.
Gaston paced an electric Wildcat offense in their season opening win over Queens University of Charlotte. His front row performance was unmatched with 42 assists and four block assists. Gaston also added six kills hitting .333 while adding seven digs.
