ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Men's Volleyball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Jan. 20, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in matches played last week.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – PARFAIT MUGABO, EDWARD WATERS UNIVERSITY

Mugabo had an impressive debut for Edward Waters last week, despite the Tigers going 0-2 in their tri-match against Queens University of Charlotte and Barton College. Mugabo compiled 31 kills, 11 digs, five aces and two blocks. The freshman also notched seven kills, two aces and three blocks in a 3-0 loss to Queens before following with 24 kills and three aces in a 3-1 loss to Barton.
SETTER OF THE WEEK – DEVONTE HARMON, EDWARD WATERS UNIVERSITY

Harmon tallied 49 assists, 12 digs and two blocks across two matches last week as Edward Waters faced Queens University of Charlotte and Barton College. Harmon finished the tri-match with 16 assists and three digs in a 3-0 loss to Queens, followed by a season-high 33 assists, nine digs and two blocks in a 3-1 loss to Barton College.
