SIAC Men's Basketball Weekly Honors: Jan. 27

ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Men's Basketball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Jan. 27, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week. Najashi Tolefree (Miles) and Kameron Foman (Benedict) were recognized.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – NAJASHI TOLEFREE, MILES COLLEGE
Forward | Senior | Milwaukee, Wis.
Tolefree averaged 24.3 points on 57.7 percent shooting from the field, 5.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 steals as Miles won 2-of-3 games this week. He set his career high of 27 points on 12-of-20 shooting, grabbed five rebounds and added three assists in a road win at Spring Hill. Tolefree then tied his career-high with 27 points on 11-of-19 shooting, with six rebounds and two steals at Fort Valley State.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – KAMERON FOMAN, BENEDICT COLLEGE
Forward | Junior | Hartsville, S.C.
Foman continues to be one of the top rebounders in the SIAC. In three games last week, Foman averaged 11.7 points and 11.7 rebounds. He had a pair of double-doubles with 12 points and season-high 16 rebounds in an overtime victory over Edward Waters. He had 17 points and 12 rebounds in a victory over Kentucky State. For the week, he shot .577 from the floor (15 of 26).
