ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Men's Volleyball Players of the Week on Tuesday, Feb. 3, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in matches played last week.

Fort Valley State) were recognized.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – PARFAIT MUGABO, EDWARD WATERS UNIVERSITY

Two-time reigning SIAC Offensive Player of the Week Parfait Mugabo continued his strong play for the Edward Waters men’s volleyball team as they went 0-2 on their West Coast road trip. Mugabo recorded 12 kills, four aces, three digs and two blocks in the Tigers’ 3-0 loss to No. 17 Cal State Northridge. He followed with 17 kills, six digs and two aces in EWU’s 3-1 loss to Vanguard University.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – TAVIIAN MARTIN, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Middle Blocker/Opposite Hitter | Senior | Chandler, Ariz.
Martin had a lights out game at the net this past week for the Wildcats. He dominated opponents with seven block assists and three solo blocks. Martin also contributed on offense with 15 kills. Martin rounded out his week with five digs and a service ace to solidify a well rounded week in every rotation.
SETTER OF THE WEEK – LOGAN ROGERS, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Setter/Opposite Hitter | Freshman | Apopka, Fla.
Rogers absolutely dominated this past week for the Wildcats. He paced the offense with 50 assists through three matches while also adding 13 kills and a pair of service aces. Rogers' defense was also stellar with six block assists and two solo blocks while also tallying 20 digs.
