SAVANNAH, Ga. —
Savannah State wrapped up play on Tuesday afternoon in the annual Savannah State Spring Invitational at Crosswinds Golf Course.
The Tigers finished third in the event, behind Christian Brothers and Morehouse. Following Savannah State was Johnson C. Smith, Mars Hill, Bowie State, Central State and Fisk.
Pacing Savannah State was
Justin Woods and
Hayden Plybon.
Woods finished tied for fifth, after shooting 225 (75-73-77) and Plybon was tied for ninth with a score of 231 (80-74-77).
Brooks Garland was tied for 12th with his score of 234 (79-80-75) and
Lavelle Teague, Jr. was one stroke behind Garland with a score of 235 (81-73-81) to finish 17th.
