ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Men’s Track and Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday, March 24, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in meets last week.

Antonio Russell (
Edward Waters) were recognized.
MEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – ANDRE MILNER, FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
Senior | Hinesville, Ga.
Milner delivered a standout performance for Fort Valley State at the Charleston Southern University Buccaneer Invite, leading the hurdles events. He claimed first place in both the 110-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles, posting winning times of 15.77 in the 110H and 55.91 in the 400H, earning maximum team points in each event. His impact extended beyond individual competition, as he also played a key role on Fort Valley State’s first-place 4x400-meter relay team, helping secure another victory and contributing to the Wildcats’ strong overall showing.
MEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – ANTONIO RUSSELL, EDWARD WATERS UNIVERSITY
Junior | Pinson, Ala.
Russell delivered a strong performance at the 2026 Hampton Inn River City Relays for Edward Waters, recording three top-10 finishes. He placed second overall in the long jump with a mark of 6.92 meters. The Pinson, Ala., native also finished fifth in the shot put with a throw of 10.38 meters and sixth overall in the discus with a mark of 20.49 meters.
