ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Women’s Track and Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday, March 24, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in meets last week.

Tuskegee) and
Kaylee Holloway (
Albany State) were recognized.
WOMEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – AN'JANAE LATCHINSON, TUSKEGEE UNIVERSITY
Senior | Terry, Miss.
Latchinson delivered a strong all-around performance at the Lee University Invitational, competing across multiple sprint events for Tuskegee. The senior posted a second-place finish in the women’s 200 meters, crossing the line in 24.63, one of the top times in the meet. She also contributed in the 4x100-meter relay, helping Tuskegee secure a second-place finish with a time of 46.91. Latchinson added another solid performance in the 100-meter hurdles, recording a time of 14.20 to finish among the top competitors in the field. Her versatility across sprint and hurdle events played a key role in Tuskegee’s success over the weekend.

Holloway continued her dominant freshman campaign with exceptional performances in the throws. She captured first place in the discus with a mark of 44.86 meters and added a second-place finish in the shot put at 13.09 meters.
