ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Women’s Tennis Player of the Week on Tuesday, March 31, honoring Sofia Lopez of Edward Waters University for impressive performances in matches played last week.

WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK – SOFIA LOPEZ, EDWARD WATERS UNIVERSITY
Sophomore | Bogotá, Colombia
Lopez has a fantastic week for the Edward Waters Lady Tigers, helping them to wins over Georgia Southwestern and New Paltz. Lopez picked up a No. 2 singles victory (6-4, 6-2) and a No. 3 doubles victory (6-2) against Georgia Southwestern. She also collected a No. 1 singles win (7-5, 6-1) and a No. 2 doubles win (6-4) over New Paltz.
