ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Women’s Track and Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday, March 31, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in meets last week.

WOMEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – CADENCE CRAY, ALBANY STATE UNIVERSITY
Junior | Baxley, Ga.
Cray dominated the sprint events, sweeping both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes with first-place finishes. She posted times of 11.81 in the 100 meters and 24.10 in the 200 meters, leading the Lady Golden Rams with elite speed and consistency. Cray’s performances were key in setting the tone for the team’s success throughout the meet.
WOMEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – CADENCE TANNER, ALBANY STATE UNIVERSITY
Junior | Minneapolis, Minn.
Tanner delivered an outstanding performance, capturing first place in the high jump with a clearance of 1.66 meters. In addition to her event win, Tanner contributed points in the 100-meter hurdles with a fifth-place finish, demonstrating her versatility and competitive edge. Her efforts were instrumental in helping the Lady Golden Rams secure a second-place team finish.
