Central State rebounded from a first-set loss to defeat No. 3
Benedict, 3-1 (27-29, 25-15, 25-20, 25-23), in a semifinal match Friday afternoon in the 2026 SIAC Men’s Volleyball Tournament at the Adams-Jenkins Community Sports & Music Complex.
With the win, the Marauders improve to 10-12 overall and will advance to the championship round, where they will face No. 1 Fort Valley State.
CSU totaled 54 kills (.203), 51 assists, 61 digs, 12 service aces, 10 block assists and one solo block.
Jaedyn Harris led with a match-high 14 kills (.200) and added seven digs, three block assists, one service ace and one assist.
Toulmin Williams IV followed with 12 kills, seven digs and five service aces, while
Simon Falayi posted 11 kills (.500), adding five block assists and four digs.
Preston Smith contributed 10 kills, nine digs and four service aces.
Bradley Patrick recorded 43 assists, 10 digs and one service ace, while 2026 SIAC Men’s Volleyball Libero of the Year
Benjamin Latham anchored the back row with a match-high 23 digs. Latham also contributed six assists.
