ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Men's Volleyball Players of the Week on Tuesday, April 7, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in matches played last week.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – JAEDYN HARRIS, CENTRAL STATE UNIVERSITY
Outside Hitter | Junior | Columbus, Ohio
Harris delivered an outstanding two-match performance, leading Central State to a 2–0 week with a pair of wins at Benedict College. He recorded 36 total kills—14 in the first match and 22 in the second—while averaging 4.00 kills per set across nine sets. Harris posted an impressive .371 hitting percentage for the week. He finished the weekend with just 10 errors on 70 attempts, showcasing exceptional efficiency. In addition to his offensive dominance, Harris contributed 6 service aces, 7 digs, and 43.5 total points. He averaged 4.83 points per set, ranking among the top five performances nationally for the week.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – BENJAMIN LATHAM, CENTRAL STATE UNIVERSITY

Latham anchored Central State’s defense in a 2–0 week, delivering a dominant performance across both victories. He totaled 38 digs, averaging an impressive 4.22 digs per set. Latham recorded 16 digs in the four-set win and followed with 22 digs in the five-set match—the highest single-match total of the weekend. Beyond his defensive impact, Latham added 7 assists and was flawless in serve receive during the second match, committing zero reception errors. This marks the second consecutive week he has set new SIAC season highs for total match digs. His performances this week have propelled him back into the top five nationally in digs per set.
SETTER OF THE WEEK – CHRISTOPHER DEMETRIOU, CENTRAL STATE UNIVERSITY
Setter | Sophomore | Larnaca, Cyprus
Demetriou orchestrated Central State’s offense at an elite level in a 2–0 week, totaling 104 assists across two matches (36 in match one, 68 in match two) while averaging 11.56 assists per set. His average ranks among the top three performances nationally for the week. Demetriou guided the Marauders to highly efficient offensive outputs, posting team hitting percentages of .301 and .388 in the two matches, respectively, while effectively distributing the ball across multiple attackers. In addition to his playmaking, he contributed 4 service aces, 9 digs, and 3 total blocks (1 solo, 2 assists), highlighting his all-around impact. His standout performance in the second match set a new SIAC season high for both total assists and assists per set, further solidifying his case for Setter of the Week honors.
