SIAC NAMES ALL CONFERENCE & ALL ACADEMIC BASEBALL TEAM

Tucker, GA – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is proud to announce the 2007 Baseball All Conference & All Academic Team. Albany State Head Coach Edward Taylor took home the honors of Coach of the Year after leading his team to an Eastern Division Regular Season Championship in the SIAC. Brandon Heard was named Player of the Year after leading his team to a 1st place finish atop of the Western Division of the SIAC and the SIAC Freshman of the Year is Charles Roberts of Paine College. As voted by the SIAC Baseball Coaches Association.
