Atlanta, GA—The 2011 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Championship will return to Albany, GA this week. The 2011 championship begins Thursday, April 28th through Saturday, April 30th at Paul Eames Baseball Complex.
This year’s championship will feature the top eight teams in the conference led by Benedict College, who comes in as the number one seed, and Stillman College, who comes in as the number two seed. Stillman finished the regular season as SIAC West Division Champions with a 12-0 conference record while Benedict, with a 14-1 conference record, were SIAC East Division Champions. Other teams include Claflin University, Miles College, Tuskegee University, Albany State University, Kentucky State University, and Paine College.
Opening round will kick-off at 10 a.m. with Tuskegee University versus Albany State University and Claflin University versus Miles College.
The Paul Eames Baseball Complex is located at 1130 Ball Park Drive, Albany, Georgia 31705.
