ATLANTA, GA---Clark Atlanta University seniors Robert Brown III and Harcourt Farquharson have been invited to the National Football League's (NFL) Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons rookie camps, respectively, where they will get an opportunity to try-out for the team along with other invited players. Both camps will be held May 10 through May 13.
Brown, a 6-3 tightend and native of Miami, Florida, is a two-sport athlete at CAU in football and baseball and will graduate this May with a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. During the 2011 season, he recorded 140 receiving yards on 11 receptions with one touchdown. Brown enjoyed a highlighted season in 2010 when he had a career high 418 receiving yards and 24 receptions.
"I am really excited about this opportunity," said Brown.
Also a native of Miami, Farquharson was a part of CAU's defensive unit at the defensive back position and also split time as a punt returner. He averaged 14.5 punt return yards and ranked fifth on the team with 41 total tackles.
