NEW YORK, N.Y. - Thirty-three football players from the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference have been selected to the USA Football 2014 Preseason All-America teams.
The selections range from first, second, and third team including 20 players who were named to the 2014 SIAC Preseason Teams.
Among the league players selected, seven land on the first team, nine were placed on the second and third team, four were tabbed with special teams recognition and four were given honorable mention.
Selected by members of football media organizations (Metropolitan New York Football Writers Association, New England Football Writers Association, Philadelphia Football Writers and the Football Writers of America Association), internet and media publications (Lindy's Sports Annuals, Athlone Sports, Phil Steele's, The Sports Network and USA Football News), college head coaches and sports information directors plus professional coaches and scouts, the roster of USA College Football's All-American Teams serves as a "Watch List" for the USA College College Bowl and is distributed to NFL, CFL, Minor League and International football franchises.
