ASPiRE to Broadcast Atlanta University Center Homecoming Takeover

ATLANTA  – ASPiRE will showcase two Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) football games in conjunction with the Atlanta University Center (AUC) “Homecoming Takeover” on Saturday, October 24.

The ASPiRE broadcast will feature Clark Atlanta vs. Albany State at CAU Panther Stadium along with Morehouse taking on Benedict at B.T. Harvey Stadium. Kickoff for both games is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. (ET). Calling the action will be James Verrett and Eric Tabor while Rashan Ali will be handling sideline and tailgating reporting duties.

The broadcast will allow fans the opportunity to not only track two thrilling games, but be a part of the homecoming experience and festivities.

SIAC Commissioner Gregory Moore stated, “This unique ASPiRE broadcast will not only provide a platform to showcase our outstanding student-athletes from four outstanding SIAC institutions, but the AUC “Homecoming Takeover” will also provide fans with a glimpse of some homecoming pageantry and festivities which is expected to attract over 30,000 students, alumni and fans to the AUC on Saturday.”

Clark Atlanta won its first game of the season with a 24-3 win over Benedict last week as it heads into Saturday against Albany State who has won its last two games.  Morehouse will try to snap a two-game losing streak against Benedict and claim its second SIAC divisional win on Saturday.
