ALBANY, Ga. | Albany State hosted Lane College on Saturday, a team who was previously unbeaten in conference play.
Trailing by as many as 14 in the first half, the Golden Rams roared back to outscore the Dragons, 44-29 in the second half, taking the game 68-63.
ASU struggled from the field during the first 20 minutes, making just 7-of-25 field goals and going 0-for-9 from three point range.
That all changed in the second half as ASU made 59 percent of their shots and went 15-for-19 from the charity stripe.
Jared Harrington netted a game-high 22 points for Albany State (5-10, 4-2). Tyrell Williams finished with 13 points and eight rebounds. Mario Young added 10 points.
Kendarius Ash had a team-high 17 points and seven rebounds for Lane (7-4, 4-1).
ASU is off until next Saturday when they travel to Mobile, Ala. for a conference matchup with Spring Hill. Tip off is set for 4:00 pm CST.
