It was a slow start for both teams early in the first half, but it didn’t take long for Morehouse to heat up. The Maroon Tigers quickly jumped out to a big lead and went into halftime up by 22 points. The second half was a similar story. The depth of Morehouse’s lineup gave Spring Hill problems. Morehouse had six players score over double figures in points. Spring Hill couldn’t match Morehouse’s high powered shooting, as they were only able to hit five three pointers, compared to Morehouse’s 15. They’re expecting to make a similar statement in the Semifinal round, where they will play the winner of Tuskegee and Savannah State.
