ATLANTA, GA - The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) is thrilled to announce the 2023 Cricket SIAC Women's Volleyball Championship! Set against the backdrop of the Tsunami Center in Jonesboro, Georgia, this highly anticipated two-day event will commence on Thursday, November 9, at 10 a.m. Join us and witness history unfold as eight formidable SIAC teams vie for the championship crown!
Colleen Craig, owner of the new women's professional team, the Atlanta Vibe, and CEO of Rally Sports Management (RSM), is a key player in organizing this marquee event. "We are delighted to partner with the SIAC and Commissioner Holloman," stated Craig. "Commissioner Holloman has been a supporter of volleyball for years, across the women's and men's games, and this latest initiative to bring the 2023 Cricket SIAC Women's Volleyball Championship to Atlanta is another example of that commitment. 2022 CRICKET SIAC WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP
Spring Hill College reigned victorious during the 2022 Cricket SIAC Women's Volleyball Championship, effortlessly sweeping Edward Waters in three sets (25-4, 25-18, 25-13) at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center. This win marked their fourth consecutive SIAC Championship title, and completed their fifth-straight undefeated conference season on their home court. Spring Hill's impressive gameplay was evident in every statistical category, showcasing their dominance since joining the SIAC in 2014.
