Clark Atlanta Panthers reign Thorobreds in fourth-straight victory

Clark Atlanta moves to 3-0 in conference play

ATLANTA — The Clark Atlanta men's basketball team outlasted Kentucky State, 81-69, in an intense conference matchup Monday night at L.S. Epps Gymnasium.

The Panthers improved to 6-4 overall and 3-0 in conference play, relying on a strategic game plan and key performances from their top players. Forward Shemani Fuller led the charge with 21 points, nine rebounds, and two assists, while guard Jalen Williams recorded a double-double with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists, knocking down four three-pointers. Dez'Mond Perkins also delivered a strong performance, contributing 18 points and forcing three turnovers.

Kentucky State's defense worked hard to contain Clark Atlanta's high-powered offense, but the Panthers' well-executed strategy and efficient play proved too much to overcome. The Thorobreds struggled to find offensive consistency and were unable to slow the Panthers' momentum in the second half.
