ATLANTA — Fort Valley State, Albany State, Benedict, Miles and Tuskegee were among the top 10 football programs ranked in the 2024 preseason HBCU Division II Coaches Poll powered by BOXTOROW.
Fort Valley State is the highest ranked SIAC team in the poll in the No. 3 spot. The Wildcats finished last season 8-3 (6-2 SIAC).
Albany State (6-5, 6-2 SIAC) came in at No. 5, Benedict (11-1, 8-0 SIAC) at No. 6, Miles (7-3, 6-2 SIAC) at No. 7 and Tuskegee (7-4, 6-2 SIAC) at No. 8 in the coaches poll.
The HBCU Division II Coaches Poll, now in its third year, is administered by BOXTOROW and is voted on by the coaches of NCAA Division II HBCUs.
