Edward Waters football falls to Alcorn State, 38-7

LORMAN, Miss. — The Edward Waters football team fell to a hungry and inspired Alcorn State 38-7 on Saturday evening at Spinks-Casem Stadium.

Moore added a team-best 44-yard rushing on 13 rushes. Kentrelle Williams finished with 42 yards on the ground on 11 carries and scored the Tigers' lone touchdown of the ballgame, his second rushing touchdown of the season. Sophomore Gregory Mango finished with 23 yards for EWU.

Deven Thompson led EWU with a season-high 57 receiving yards on just three receptions, including a 37-yard catch. Jaidyn Wilson added two catches for 18 total yards.
