MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The
Benedict College Lady Tigers wrapped up the SIAC West Crossover with a 3-0 victory over
Miles College on Saturday morning.
Benedict won the match 25-14, 25-18, 25-19.
The Lady Tigers recorded 44 kills in the match, compared to just 24 for Miles.
Mia Burgess led Benedict with 10 kills, while
Nyla Troncoso added nine kills.
Willow Alls had 24 assists, while
La'Jai Wilson led the defense with 14 digs.
The Lady Tigers, now 13-3 overall and 7-2 in the SIAC, return home to take on Albany State on Tuesday in the HRC Arena at 6 p.m.
