Albany State Defeats Tuskegee 7-3, Remains Undefeated in Conference Play

ALBANY, Ga. — In front of a packed Homecoming crowd, the Albany State Golden Rams delivered a commanding 7-3 victory over the Tuskegee Golden Tigers on Saturday afternoon at the Coliseum. With the win, Albany State improves to 6-1 overall and 5-0 in the SIAC, extending its win streak and further solidifying its position among the conference elite.

The Golden Rams came out firing early, capitalizing on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Jaydon Kinney struck early before Zhay'Lyn Bell entered to take charge and lead the offensive charge with poise, connecting with Tiant Wyche for multiple key gains that set the tone. Derrick Drayton and Daytin Baker anchored the ground game, combining for over 150 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Albany State's offensive line, led by Noah Stovall, provided consistent protection, allowing the Rams to dominate time of possession.

Defensively, Isaiah Morrison and Luke Rose spearheaded a relentless unit that kept the Tuskegee offense on its heels throughout the afternoon. The Rams' defense tallied several sacks and critical third-down stops, holding the Golden Tigers to minimal rushing yards. Cam Watts continued his standout season on special teams with an explosive punt return that ignited the crowd and shifted momentum in favor of the Rams.

With Homecoming celebrations in full swing, Albany State's victory was the perfect capstone to a festive weekend on campus.
