FRANKFORT, Ky. – The
Spring Hill College volleyball team swept both
LeMoyne-Owen and
Kentucky State, 3-0, at the SIAC West Division Cluster on Friday.
The Badgers (9-5, 6-0 SIAC) blanked the Magicians (2-9, 0-5 SIAC) 25-9, 25-10, 25-16. Spring Hill hit at a .287 clip while holding LeMoyne-Owen to .011 hitting.
Lillie Casey led the way with 10 kills, while
Ashlyn Whiteside anchored the defense with 17 digs.
SHC swept the Thorobreds 25-14, 25-12, 25-13 while hitting .337 and holding KSU to .053 on the attack. Casey paced the offense with 12 kills, and
Monica Vargo directed the attack with 34 assists.

- Casey's 12 kills against KSU marked a season-high.
- Emily Cook totaled a season-high 23 assists versus LeMoyne-Owen.
