Atreonia Garner eclipsed 1,000 career points on Thursday night with her 32-point, 14 rebound performance in the Lady Panthers, 73-66, win over Albany State. With the win, Clark Atlanta improves to 2-6 overall and 2-3 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Garner and Trinity Jones combined for 14-of-19 of the Lady Panthers' first quarter points to put CAU in front 19-14 headed into the second frame.
- Six different Lady Panthers scored in the second quarter to swell Clark Atlanta's lead to 19 points (42-23) going into the intermission.
- Aanisah Moncrief chased in a pair of free throws to push the Lady Panthers to their biggest lead of the night at 24 points (55-31) with just under three minutes to play in the third quarter.
- Clark Atlanta survived a late comeback from Albany State as they brought it within four points (69-65) with less than two minutes to play, but Joirdyn Smith sank a pair of free throws to secure the 73-66 victory.

- Atreonia Garner led all scorers with a game-high 32 points and 14 rebounds to complete the double-double performance.
- Trinity Jones poured in 14 points of her own, while Keyra Peterson pulled down a team-high 13 rebounds.
