ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday, April 22, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in meets last week.

Measha Jones (
Allen) were recognized.
WOMEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – AN'JANAE LATCHINSON, TUSKEGEE UNIVERSITY
Junior | Terry, Miss.
Latchinson delivered an all-around standout performance for Tuskegee University at the Georgia Tech Invitational, competing against elite Division I and II talent. Latchinson set a new personal best in the 100-meter dash, crossing the line in 12.15 seconds, and followed it up with a 15th-place finish in the 200 meters in 24.56 seconds, marking one of the top SIAC times of the weekend. She also ran a strong 14.34 in the 100-meter hurdles, showcasing her versatility and technical ability across multiple sprint and hurdle events. Additionally, she anchored the Golden Tigers' 4x100-meter relay, helping the squad post a season-best 48.08, further contributing to Tuskegee’s continued success in sprint relays this season.
WOMEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – MEASHA JONES, ALLEN UNIVERSITY
Senior | Manning, S.C.
Jones placed first in the long jump at the Sharonda Coleman-Singleton Classic, hosted by South Carolina State University last week. The win marks her sixth overall win this season and the senior's fourth victory in the event. After recording a distance of 5.55m, the two-time SIAC champion secured the top spot ahead of a field of NCAA Division I and II competitors.
