The Dragons went into halftime with a commanding 42–12 advantage after shooting 60 percent from the floor in the second quarter and forcing numerous turnovers that fueled their transition offense.

Kameria Piggee led the way with 10 points and 10 rebounds, recording a double-double off the bench. Lauren Lain added eight points and seven rebounds, while Europe Brown chipped in seven points and five steals. Jahniya Brown and Jeurnei Wright each knocked down key three-pointers as part of Lane's 5-of-16 shooting from beyond the arc.
