Albany State's women's basketball team stormed back from an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat
Tuskegee University 52–48 in the Play4Kay/Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Game at the Jones Brothers HPER Complex.
Trailing late, the Lady Golden Rams delivered a poised and relentless closing stretch.
Na'Haviya Paxton led the charge with 16 points and four steals, igniting the rally with timely baskets and defensive pressure.
Jada Morgan added 12 points, repeatedly attacking the rim and converting crucial free throws down the stretch.
Dominating the glass proved pivotal.
Paris Triplett controlled the paint with a commanding 16 rebounds while contributing nine points and six blocks, anchoring Albany State's interior defense.
Sariah Johnson complemented the effort with 12 rebounds, helping the Lady Golden Rams secure key second-chance opportunities.
Albany State's defensive intensity set the tone in the final minutes, forcing turnovers and capitalizing at the free-throw line. The Lady Golden Rams finished with 18 points off turnovers and 13 fast-break points, turning defensive stops into momentum-shifting plays.
With the victory, Albany State continues to build confidence as postseason play approaches, showcasing resilience and unity in one of the season's most inspiring performances.
