ALBANY, Ga. —
Albany State baseball continued its red-hot run over the weekend, completing a dominant 3–0 conference series sweep of
LeMoyne-Owen in Albany, Georgia. With the trio of victories, the Golden Rams not only protected their home field but also kept their win streak alive in emphatic fashion. Across the series, Albany State's offense erupted for 53 runs, while the pitching staff delivered timely strikeouts and steady command to secure the clean sweep.
GAME 1: ALBANY STATE 27, LEMOYNE-OWEN 8
The Golden Rams wasted no time setting the tone, exploding for 11 runs in a breathtaking first inning highlighted by a leadoff home run from
David Cooper and a relentless barrage of extra-base hits.
Emory Stephens headlined the offensive showcase, going 4-for-5 with two home runs and an astounding eight RBIs.
Luke Addison added a huge day at the plate, finishing 3-for-4 with five runs scored and three RBIs, while
Aiden Paynecontributed three hits and three RBIs. On the mound,
Samuel Crew earned the win, striking out seven over four innings. Albany State piled up 19 hits in the rout, overwhelming LeMoyne-Owen from start to finish.
GAME 2: ALBANY STATE 11, LEMOYNE-OWEN 2
Albany State stayed in control in the second contest, using a balanced offensive attack and strong pitching to secure the series win.
Perry Usher sparked the Rams with a two-run triple, while Cooper led the way with three hits and two RBIs.
Ty Grover's late two-run homer provided the finishing touch.
Calvin Baker delivered a composed performance on the mound, striking out seven across five innings to earn the victory, and
Quindon Wright closed the door with two scoreless frames. The Golden Rams' ability to respond after LeMoyne-Owen's third-inning homer underscored their poise and consistency.
GAME 3: ALBANY STATE 15, LEMOYNE-OWEN 5
The Golden Rams completed the sweep with another offensive outburst, recording 19 hits and launching three home runs.
Ty Grover starred with a 4-for-5 performance, including a home run and two RBIs.
Mylon Uribe added three hits and two RBIs, while
Ryan Brown delivered a two-run homer.
Luke Addison continued his standout weekend with two hits and two RBIs.
Jeremiah Reddell set the tone on the mound, striking out six over four scoreless innings to earn the win. Despite a late push from LeMoyne-Owen, Albany State's early cushion proved more than enough.

Albany State now turns its attention to a midweek non-conference road matchup against Georgia Southwestern in Americus, Georgia. The Golden Rams will look to extend their win streak as they continue a strong stretch of play.
