The Dragons struck first in the opening inning when Teagan Davies drove in a run with a groundout to give Lane an early 1–0 lead. The game remained tight until the late innings when Lane broke through.
In the eighth inning, Cason Blunt delivered an RBI single to tie the game at 2–2. Lane then erupted in the ninth inning as Desean Rogers launched a two-run home run to center field and Davies followed with a solo shot to push the Dragons ahead 5–2.
Lane finished with 13 hits, with Rogers, Gabriel Garza, Anderson Jorge, and Brandon Chapa each collecting multiple hits.
GAME 2: CLARK ATLANTA 11, LANE 10
Game two turned into a high-scoring battle that featured multiple momentum swings. Lane built a 10–8 lead after a five-run fourth inning powered by two home runs from Brandon Chapa and a two-run blast by Wilfredo Soto.
Clark Atlanta responded with a six-run third inning earlier in the game and eventually took advantage of defensive miscues late. The Panthers scored twice in the sixth inning to take an 11–10 lead and held off Lane's comeback attempt in the seventh to even the series.
Chapa finished the game with three hits and five RBIs, while Garza also homered and drove in two runs.
GAME 3: LANE 13, CLARK ATLANTA 6
Lane responded in the series finale with its most complete offensive performance of the weekend, scoring 13 runs on 11 hits to secure the series victory.
The Dragons jumped on Clark Atlanta early as Teagan Davies blasted a three-run homer in the first inning. Lane extended the lead to 7–0 in the third inning thanks to a two-run single from Derek Castillo and a two-run home run by Jermaine Purvis.
Davies and Castillo both had big days at the plate with three hits each, while Purvis and Trey Babbitt also homered for the Dragons. Lane added insurance runs throughout the middle innings and closed the game with two more runs in the ninth.
On the mound, Anderson Jorge earned the win after pitching into the ninth inning while striking out six.
SERIES NOTES
