ATLANTA — The SIAC will play 23 football games on ESPN platforms this fall with 11 weeks of regular-season competition in addition to the highly anticipated conference championship on Nov. 14.
Tuskegee will open the season on Aug. 30 with an ESPN2 national cable broadcast against West Alabama in the sixth annual Red Tails Classic at historic Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Ala. Fort Valley State and Tuskegee will also square off on the same channel on Saturday, Sept. 5, in the fourth annual Port City Classic at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala.
The 2026 lineup will also feature some of the league’s most revered traditions and homecoming celebrations. The lineup includes the Fountain City Classic (Albany State and Fort Valley State), homecoming showdowns at Miles, Benedict, and Clark Atlanta.
“Our relationship with ESPN remains steadfast as we continue our mission to enhance the visibility of our member institutions and the extraordinary student-athletes who represent them," said SIAC Commissioner Anthony Holloman, Ed.D. "The 2026 season marks a new era of opportunity, and as we embark on our sixth year with ESPN, we eagerly anticipate an unforgettable season that will showcase the legacy, competitive fervor and resilience that define SIAC football.”
