ATLANTA, GA - In a season of thrilling victories and steadfast determination, the stage is set for a thrilling championship showdown as the Albany State Golden Rams face the Benedict College Tigers in the most anticipated game of the year, the 2023 SIAC Football Championship, presented by Cricket!
The Golden Rams' hard-fought 13-7 victory during the 33rd Annual Fountain City Classic increased the team's chances of advancing to the championship game, ahead of a deciding matchup between Miles College and Tuskegee University.
At home, the Golden Bears of Miles celebrated a 35-10 victory over the Golden Tigers, taking Tuskegee out of the running for a seat in the championship game.
Now 6-2 in the SIAC, Albany State will face the undefeated Benedict College Tigers (8-0) at Lakewood Stadium on November 11 at 1 p.m. ET!
